About Us

The Swanderosa was built in 1998 as the Swan family dream home in northwestern Bexar County. As the family grew and the grounds expanded, The Swanderosa soon became the place for family reunions and Holiday get togethers. After hosting several weddings on the property, they decided to share their blessings with others. They opened the doors to The Swanderosa in August of 2009. Judy and Tom decided from the beginning that The Swanderosa would stay family oriented and that every person that walked through the door would be treated as if they were a part of the Swan family. The business is founded on this aspect and it is obvious throughout the entire event planning process. Each member of the family contributes their talents, skills and passions to make every event a success.

The relaxed atmosphere at The Swanderosa ensures that every client can come in and be stress free while touring the facility and signing contracts. We have no exclusive relationships with any vendor, which gives every client the ability to build their event around their unique vision. Whether an intimate gathering or a big event, an elaborate theme or casual party, we will do our best to make you feel at home.

The Swanderosa is nestled in the hill country but is only a stones throw from the city of San Antonio. We are only a few minutes drive from The Shops at la Cantera, The Rim, Fiesta Texas, and Sea World. The location is ideal for any client with family from out of town that plans to enjoy the city of San Antonio while in the area for an event.
